The Stewart Wing Tip provides the following benefits:

How it works:
The length of the lifting surface of the wing is extended to the tip, providing more lift. On the underside of the wing tip, the concave shape bleeds off the turbulent air, decreasing drag. There is no actual increase in wing span, nor does the Stewart Tip block your side view.
